OUR MISSION
Welcome to San Diego Last Chance Ranch, a non-profit animal rescue organization. Our mission is to find loving homes for animals of all species from around the world while educating the public on responsible pet ownership. We rely on the support of our volunteers and donors to provide essential services to pets in need, and we collaborate with similar organizations to make a greater impact. There is currently no adoption fees for our rescues but donations are always welcome. Thank you for visiting and supporting our cause!

Trixie is almost 2 years old, and is a sweet, timid cat. She likes to sit next to you and touch you with one paw or lean against your legs for attention. She came with a crushed paw which has healed, and asthma. She has adjusted to dogs and prefers adults. She likes butt scratches, belly rubs, and neck scratches. She needs a calm human and loves attention.
Lovey is about 2 years old she has healed from trauma and abuse in the shelter. She is super sweet and nervous until she gets to know you. But if you are mellow and calm she likes being picked up and cuddled. Her favorite is getting her head scratched.
Matrix is 1 year old and feral. She has suffered human abuse in the shelter. She has healed and is still rejecting any form of touch. I am sure given time and patience she will come around. She is currently up for adoption in Marion Indiana.
Grandpa he is about 4 years old and likes attention. He belongs to another rescue and we are advertising him for them. He has an adoption fee of $150
​Meany is 10 months old and is looking for a patient family that she can trust. She is sweet and it would be best if she had a kitty friend in her new home to boost her confidence. If there is no kitty in the home then she will need to be adopted out with another kitty friend. She is still shy and needs more socialization.
Phantom is a 2 year old sweet loving cat that likes human attention. He needs to be the only male cat in the house though because he will spray when he smells another male cat. But he is stunning and sweet and just wants a forever home.
Splotch is 10 months old and was found with his brother in Hemet. He is cuddly and playful. He gets the zoomies and runs up and down the stairs. He is also goofy and lays in funny positions.
Katarina is a kitten from another rescue that we are helping promote. She is sweet and gorgeous. Her adoption fee is $200.

Neko is about 2 years old and FIV positive. He is also one of the most loving cats ever and just wants to have your attention. FIV is not a death sentence and can only be passed through saliva if the cat bites another cat and breaks the skin hitting blood. Very unlikely to transfer. We have some living together with no transference. He wants a forever home
Kruella is a very sweet loving cat, about 2 years old, that in in San Bernardino at another rescue that we support. He will deliver. She is loving and deserves a good home.

Chewy is a 2 year old Staffordshire terrier that is on the euthanasia list at the Santa Barbara shelter. I don't have any fosters to save this guys life. He is loving and affectionate and loves to play fetch. He is good with other dogs, hasn't been tested with cats, and loves kids. Please help me save this dogs life! I may be able to transport if you can foster or adopt him. If you foster and then back out I can't take him back so if you foster you can't back out. Let me know if you can help please asap!

Athena is 6 months old and was relinquished from a lady who could not properly care for her. Her siblings are Apollo, Artemis, and Aphrodite. Her Mom is Sweetpea. She had to have both eyes removed, but is still super playful and loving.

Mini May is the sweetest most loving kitty. She loves to be picked up and snuggled in your arms. She is a food hound and just had a litter of kittens. When her kittens are weaned she will be fixed, vaccinated, and ready for adoption. She also loves to play and is about 2-3 years old. She doesn't like other cats.

He can spray around male cats, but is cool with dogs. He is looking for a chill home where he can get lots of attention. He belongs to another rescue we support.
Meow-Woof is about 4 years old and lives in San Bernardino. He can be delivered! He is getting booted out of his home because his humans can't take him with them when they move. He is neutered vaccinated and loving. He will chew on cats so no cats in adoptive home please. Good with kids and other dogs. His humans are asking for $100 rehoming fee. Can someone give this guy a good forever home?
